Virgin StartUp Meetup Brighton: how to crowdfund for your StartUp
Crowdfunding is becoming more and more popular with all types of startups as a way to raise funding. It doesn’t require winning over investors (or giving away equity), it gets attention for your startup, and it helps you tap into an audience of loyal customers who will hopefully stick around long after the campaign comes to an end.
Whether you want to fund your startup entirely through crowdfunding, or use it as a stepping stone to winning over investors or the bank, come and join us for an evening of sharing knowledge
Antonio Weiss - Cofounder Thomas Clipper
azor on Kickstarter. Sleek and elegant, it was a huge success raising £3.5k over its initial target. This one razor has subsequently spawned further projects such as a beautiful Italian-leather wash bag and the Neolithic Shave Set with a lathering bowl and brush made from 5,000-year-old semi-fossilised British oak, but throughout the journey the two men have always canvassed support from their solid fanbase before adding products to their line. We are hugely honoured to have Antonio sharing the inspiring story of how Thomas Clipper successfully gathered the crowdfunding required to keep this exiting brand going forward.
